If I look tired & beat, well, that’s cause I felt this way at the moment. I even stated the wrong date; it was actually Oct. 7th, first day after leaving Shenandoah National Park. Didn’t get much sleep tenting out near the Tom Floyd Wayside Shelter, though I’d hiked 21.3 mi that day. It was very windy all night. My camp at day’s end was nearby the side trail leading to Sky Meadows State Park Visitor Center, 36.5 mi remaining on my section hike.
